What do you need to bring to practice?

  • Mandatory – Indoor shoes (we strongly suggest wrestling shoes however indoor runners will work fine)
  • Mandatory – A clean change of clothes. All athletes are expected to have clean gym clothes for each practice to avoid the spread of bacteria such as ringworm.
  • A water bottle with your name on (Tape and a sharpie marker are an easy solution as many water bottles look similar these days). Note: We do have a water fountain but water breaks are short and we do not have time to wait for everyone lined up to get a drink. Please come prepared.
  • We ask to avoid clothes with pockets or zippers as these like to catch on fingers during the course or practice. Shirts must also have sleeves, no muscle shirts or tank tops.
  • Mandatory – Canada Summer Games age group (CSG) are expected to shower after each practice with no exceptions. Showers are conveniently located in the change room. We suggest a bar of Ivory soap as it seems to be the most effective.
  • If you’re joining us for homework club we suggest you bring a healthy snack for some energy during practice.
